I know that many women in our community are going through challenging times right now.
I want to share something very personal with you today about my dark night of the soul—and the break-through that changed my life forever…
A little over 10 years ago, I was nearly out of money, I had no way of making a living that was aligned with my values, I was in a terrible relationship, and I felt creatively frustrated and stuck.
Worst of all, I felt abandoned by life and had lost all faith.
I was in a dark night of the soul, and I thought it would never end.
In spite of more than a decade of investing in my personal and spiritual growth, I hadn’t been able to create a life that matched what I knew was my higher potential.
I had accomplished some great things, but when I looked more closely at those achievements, I realized that everything I’d done had been about supporting someone else’s dream and not my own.
I knew I had unique gifts and talents inside me, and my deepest yearning was to make a difference in the lives of others, but I had no idea what that would look like or how to go about creating a life that expressed it.
Late one night, in my bedroom by candlelight, in the darkest and most painful hour of that “dark night of the soul,” I prayed for guidance and received a very clear message.
I heard a voice that I recognized as deep inner knowing say to me:
“Claire, you must believe that life supports you, even though you can’t feel it and you don’t have any evidence for it . . .
You must make choices and take actions as though you believe all of creation supports your success.”
It was a mystical experience . . .
I woke up the next morning and asked myself this question:
“What would I do if I really believed that life supported me and wanted me to succeed?”
My immediate answer was to go rent an office space and restart the coaching business I had given up 5 years earlier.
It didn’t make any logical sense, since I was out of money and didn’t even know anyone in Los Angeles, where I had just moved to from my home in Australia.
But I listened, and with my last $1000, I went and rented an office.
I know it sounds crazy—it’s against everything most of us have learned about how to make decisions and create success.
Within a year, I’d created a thriving coaching practice and teaching career. I had gotten out of that nightmare relationship I was in, and I had met my soulmate and the love of my life, who’s now my husband, Craig.
From there, a few years into our relationship, Craig and I formed our company Evolving Wisdom, which in the last 5 years alone has had over a million people participate in our online programs and was recognized by INC. Magazine as one of the top 100 fastest growing companies in America.
I’ve also had the privilege of leading a global tribe of thousands of extraordinary women from more than 100 countries in my own programs.
I am now working and playing with many of the top leaders in the transformational world. The people I’d admired and looked up to for so many years have become close friends and colleagues.
I have a blessed life, with the freedom to travel and work in some of the most beautiful places on the planet on a regular basis, such as the San Francisco Bay Area, Lake Tahoe and Santa Cruz.
Recently I was also able to realize my life-long dream of becoming a philanthropist by donating $100,000 to the Just Like My Child Foundation’s Girl Power Project, a leadership and self-esteem training for adolescent girls in the developing world that helped over 10,000 young women develop skills to step into their power.
I feel profoundly self-expressed and living on-purpose on my destiny path.
Some days I wake up and I feel like I need to pinch myself because everything I ever most deeply desired has come to be in my life.
I only share all of this to illustrate how unrecognizable my life is today from that dark night 10 years ago.
How did this all happen?
One answer: I discovered Feminine Power.
And it changed everything.
And it can change everything for you, too.

Why is it that in spite of all our accomplishments and skills, we still struggle to realize our potential?
Most of us feel like our struggles to fulfill those potentials and get our gifts out into the world are the result of some kind of personal failure.
But what if our challenges and struggles aren’t personal at all?
What if they have less to do with our personal shortfalls and more to do with the system of power we’ve grown up in and are surrounded by in our culture?
When you look up the word “power” in the dictionary, you’ll see it defined as “to do, to act, to accomplish, to make things happen,” and even: “to exert force over others!”
The very way we conceive of power in our world culture at large is a Masculine system sourced from logical, linear, strategic thinking.
This kind of power is valuable and useful for a certain set of things. For anything that is predictable and controllable, anything you can create with a step-by-step plan, the Masculine power system is definitely the way to go!
For the last 50 years, women have been mastering a Masculine system of Power.
The only problem is that the things we’re now most yearning for such as true love, intimacy, connection, belonging, creativity, self-expression, radiance, aliveness, meaning, contribution, purpose, and a brighter future for generations to come—none of these can be created exclusively with a power system that’s based on control, analysis and logical, linear thinking, nor can it be executed with a step-by-step strategic plan.
Something big and new is waking up in us for the first time in human history, and we are yearning for something more than simply to achieve success and accomplish goals.
We don’t want to just have a nice house, a nice car, and get the guy—as wonderful as those things are.
We’re yearning to realize our higher creative potentials, too—our higher destiny. We want to discover and actualize our gifts in service to something larger than ourselves.
We want to become authentically confident and visible, create loving, growth-oriented relationships, discover our purpose, feel at home, healthy vital in our bodies, create prosperous career aligned with our values, manifest our desires for fun, adventure and play, awaken spiritually; we want to fully become the women we were born to be!
To do that, we need another system of power—a Feminine system—a system that’s intuitive, creative and magnetic, and which enables us to create those things that can’t be controlled with a step-by-step plan.
When you begin to create from the Feminine system, what you’ll notice right away is that there is more magic in your life.
Things will start to accelerate and there will be a sense of flow. You’ll have more synchronicity, and everything you could possibly need to take your next steps will seem to simply come to you.
I believe that making the shift to Feminine Power is the single most important shift every conscious woman who’s called to a larger life can make.
